The Final

EVENT 1A & 1B

LIMBO – 1A

WORKOUT

For 1RM:
Max Clean and Jerk

In 8 minutes:
Establish a one rep max clean & jerk (sub team 1 – 5 females)
In 6 minutes:
Establish a one rep max clean & jerk (sub team 2 – 4 males)
In 4 minutes:
Establish a one rep max clean & jerk (sub team 3 – 3 males)

TEAM COMPOSITION

7 Males and 5 Females (in three sub-teams of 5 females, 4 males, 3 males)

NOTES

This workout works in conjunction with 1B, this is full team workout split into 3 sub teams, 5 females, 4 males and 3 males.

The sub-team of 4 males and 3 males will begin on the rower (1B); the sub-team of 5 females will start on the lifting platform. Once the first 8 minutes is complete the females will advance to the rower with the sub team of 4 males advancing to 01A and the third sub team of 3 males remaining on the rower. Following the next 6 minutes the last sub team of 3 males will advance to 1A with the sub team of 4 males returning to the rower alongside the 5 females.

No time will be given for a transition between 1A and 1B.

The female sub team will begin on the lifting platform, with a 15kg and a 20kg barbell and a stack of plates. The female sub teams will lift with the 15kg barbell and the males with the 20kg barbell. It will be the team members’ responsibility to load their bars for each lift. The smallest weight increment permitted will be 2.5kg. Only one teammate will be allowed on the platform when lifting; however, all team members in the sub-team can assist the loading of the bar and changing of weights. The attempted weight must be confirmed with the judge prior to lifting. Team members can have as many attempts as they like to make a lift during their allotted time.

If a bar lands off the lifting platform at any point the score for the entire team will be reset to 0.#

SCORE

The 1A score will be based on the aggregate of the male team and female team weight scores. This will result in a single weight score – leading to a position score i.e. first for the heaviest total weight.

 

LUST – 1B

WORKOUT

Row 5000m for time

Broken down into the following working times
8 mins – 4 males and 3 males
6 mins – 5 females and 3 males
4 mins – 5 females and 4 males

NOTES

This workout works in conjunction with 1A, this is full team workout split into 3 sub teams, 5 females, 4 males and 3 males.

The sub-team of 4 males and 3 males will begin on the rower; the sub-team of 5 females will start on the lifting platform (1A). At the call of 3, 2, 1, go the two sub teams of males will begin completing the 5000m row. Once the first 8 minutes is complete the females will advance to the rower with the sub team of 4 males advancing to 01A and the third sub team of 3 males remaining on the rower. Following the next 6 minutes the last sub team of 3 males will advance to 01A with the sub team of 4 males returning to the rower alongside the 5 females.

Athletes do not have to insert their feet into the straps of the rower. The athlete working can be assisted getting in and out of the foot plates by their team members. There is no minimum work requirement and athletes can rotate in any order they choose.

SCORE

The 1B score will be based on the total time recorded to row 5000m. This will result in an overall TIME score – leading to a position score (i.e. first for the fastest time). If teams do not complete the workout within the 18min time cap, the team score will be 18:00mins + 1 sec for every meter not completed.

EVENT 2

GLUTTONY – 2

WORKOUT

Team 4km Sandbag Run
Teams will complete a 1.33km loop as a team of 12
8 athletes then complete the 1.33km loop
4 athletes then complete the third and final 1.33km loop

TEAM COMPOSITION

7 Males and 5 Females

NOTES

Teams will be sent off independently within their heats 20 seconds apart in qualifying order.

Each team must carry a 20kg sandbag throughout the workout.

Every athlete must complete at least the first 1.33km loop. Every loop 4 athletes from each team will drop out of the race.

This workout is completed by 4 athletes running 1x 1.33km loop, 4 athletes running 2x 1.33km loops and 4 athletes running 3x 1.33km loops. Once the first 4 athletes have dropped out they may not re-enter the race for the third 1.33km run.

Once each loop is complete the working athletes must be seated in their holding pen before the team can continue with the next 1.33km loop.

 SCORE

The team score is the total time taken to complete the race.
This will result in an overall (TIME) score – leading to a position score (i.e. first for the quickest time). If teams do not complete the workout within the 30 min time cap, the team score will be 30:00mins + 1 sec for every meter not completed.

EVENT 3

THE EMPYREAN – DWF TRIBUTE 

WORKOUT

Three rounds for time:
10 in outs
Swim 50m as a pair
50 synchro squats
Swim 50m as a pair
10 in outs

TEAM COMPOSITION

4 Males and 2 Females (working in three sub-teams of 2)

NOTES

At the call of 3-2-1 go, sub team 1 will complete 1 round of the workout. Once the first round has been completed the working sub team must exit the pool before tagging the next sub team. The workout will continue in this fashion until all 3 sub teams have completed 1 round and the workout is completed.

The 10 in outs are completed individually (athletes accumulate 10 reps between them, for example if the workload is split equally this would result in 5 in outs each- total 10). The 10 in outs are the only portion of the workout where there is one working athlete.

The swim is completed as a sub team (pair) however, during the swim athletes do not need to swim side by side.

A team member can either do Workout 03 OR Workout 04 (not both).

SCORE

The team score is the total time taken to complete the relay.
This will result in an overall (TIME) score – leading to a position score (i.e. first for the quickest time). If teams do not complete the workout within the 20 min time cap, the team score will be 20:00mins + 1 sec for every rep not completed (a 25m length equates to 5 reps per athlete)

20 Synchro Double Dumbbell Cleans 20/12.5kg
40 Synchro Down Ups
60 Assault Bike Calories

TEAM COMPOSITION

3 Males 3 Females (in three sub-teams of 1 Female and 1 Male)

NOTES

At the call of 3-2-1 go, sub team 1 will complete 1 round of the workout. Once the first round has been completed the working sub team will run back to the start mat, tagging in the next sub team. The workout will continue in this fashion until all 3 sub teams have completed 1 round and the workout is completed with the final sub team back on the start mat.

There will be one bike per lane, the 60 calories are therefore accumulated between the two working athletes in the sub team.

A team member can either do Workout 03 OR Workout 04 (not both)

This will result in an overall (TIME) score – leading to a position score (i.e. first for the quickest time). If teams do not complete the workout within the 20 min time cap, the team score will be 20:00mins + 1 sec for every rep/calorie not completed.

WORKOUT

Teams will be divided into pairs.

Each Pair will complete one element of the workout in the following order:

10 Thrusters (40kg/60kg)

10 Thrusters (40kg/60kg)

10 Thrusters (50kg/80kg)

NOTES

After each pair has completed their scheme of work, they must return to the start mat before tagging in the next sub team.

All team members can assist with the loading of the bar and changing of weights.

Only one barbell can be off the ground at any one time during the Thrusters.

If a bar lands off the lifting platform the workout is stopped and that working sub-team must return to the start of their  workout.

HERESY – 6

WORKOUT

For time:
400m obstacle sprint

The entire team must complete the following obstacles in this order:
1 x 3’ wall
1 x 4’ wall
1 x 5’ wall
Water hazard
1 x 6’ wall
1 x 8’ ramp
1 x 8’ inverted wall

TEAM COMPOSITION

7 Males and 5 Females (working in three sub-teams of 4 athletes, any combination)

NOTES

Teams will be start 2 mins apart. Sub-teams will be set off 20 secs apart. Sub team 1 will start on 0:00, sub team 2 at 0:20 and sub team 3 at 0:40. The next team will then start on 2:00.

The timer stops when the final athlete crosses the finish line. All athletes can help one another over the obstacles, regardless of their sub team.

If the following team catches the team ahead, the team ahead must give way to the following team. If any team member is unable to complete an obstacle, even with the help of their team mates, the teams time will be capped at 10mins, with 1 min added for every obstacle not completed.

The team score is the total time taken for the entire team to complete the race.
This will result in an overall (TIME) score – leading to a position score (i.e. first for the quickest time). If any obstacles are incomplete, the teams time will be capped at 10 minutes and 1 minute will be added for every obstacle not completed.

EVENT 7

VIOLENCE – 7

WORKOUT

Four rounds for time:
75 Wallball 9/6kg
50 Toes to bar
200 Double unders
50 Overhead squats 50/35kg

TEAM COMPOSITION

7 Males 5 Females (in four sub-teams of three athletes in any combination)

NOTES

At the call of 3-2-1 go, sub team 1 will begin their workout with 75 wallball followed by 50 toes to bar. Once sub team 1 has finished the 50 toes to bar and advances to the double unders, sub team 2 can begin their workout.

The second sub team cannot advance to the 200 double unders until the first sub team have completed their 50 overhead squats. At which point the third sub team can begin their workout, again not advancing to the double unders until the second team have completed their overhead squats. At which point the final sub team can begin their workout.

Throughout the workout there will not be more than 2 sub teams working at any one time.

A clear tag is necessary between all transitions within the sub team.

Only one barbell can be off the ground at any one time during the Overhead Squats.

If a bar lands off the lifting platform the workout is stopped and that working sub-team must return to the wallball to re-start their portion of the workout.

Total team time to complete. This will result in an overall (TIME) score – leading to a position score (i.e. first for the quickest time). If teams do not complete the workout within the 25 min time cap, the team score will be 25:00mins + 1 sec for every rep not completed.

TEAM COMPOSITION

7 Males and 5 Females (in two sub-teams of 5 Females, 7 Males)

NOTES

This event is scored as 2 separate workouts (Workout 08A = Males, Workout 08B = Females)

There will be a 2 minute interim between Event 08A and 08B.

Teams will have two bars on their lifting platform. A male, 20kg bar pre-loaded to 35kg and female, 15kg bar pre-loaded to 25kg. Teams will be required to add their own weights for the remainder of the workout. The females can change the male weights and the males can change the female weights.

At the call of 3-2-1 go one male from the sub team will advance to the lifting platform, whilst the remaining 6 males will stay on the start mat. Only one athlete is allowed to leave the start mat at any one time throughout the workout.

A clear tag is required between transitions.

There is no minimum work requirement for athletes.

If a bar lands off the lifting platform the workout is stopped and that working sub-team must return to the beginning of the workout.

 SCORE

Total team time to complete. This will result in an overall (TIME) score – leading to a position score (i.e. first for the quickest time). If sub teams do not complete the workout within the 8 min time cap, the team score will be 8:00mins + 1 sec for every snatch not completed.

The team score is the total time taken to complete. This will result in an overall (TIME) score – leading to a position score (i.e. first for the quickest time). This position score will be weighted. The first team will score 60 place points, the second 55 points, the third 50 points … and the tenth team 5 points.
